Landscapes

Initially some of these landscapes are inspired by impressions received in the diversity of the Colombian landscape from the sea to the mountains. The essence of these impressions has an inner resonance. That resonance is what I then try to shape in the painting. Or better: that resonance is what shapes itself in the painting and it is only then that I discover it.

Inicialmente algunos de estos paisajes son inspirados en impresiones recibidas en la diversidad del paisaje colombiano desde el mar a las montañas. Lo esencial de estas impresiones tiene una resonancia interior. Esa resonancia es lo que luego intento plasmar en el cuadro. O mejor: esa resonancia es la que busca plasmarse en el cuadro y sólo en ese momento yo la descubro.
