Polimorphisms

The mystery of the polymorphous figures, present in the most diverse cultures, tells us something of the mystery of our own inner self, of what is not fixed and not univocal in ourselves. The plurality of form thus manifested corresponds to the non-reducibility to a formula in our understanding of ourselves and the world. These figures are an appeal to our own infinite richness of the depths. In it, the extremely poor vision of the human being that is predominant today (where it is reduced fundamentally to the dimension of possessing and the market) is broken down.

El misterio de las figuras polimorfas, presentes en las más diversas culturas, nos dice algo del misterio de nuestro propio interior, de lo no fijo y no unívoco en nosotros mismos. La pluralidad de la forma así manifestada, corresponde a la no reductibilidad a una fórmula en nuestra comprensión de nosotros mismos y del mundo. Estas figuras son un llamado de nuestra propia, infinita riqueza de las profundidades. En ella se resquebraja la pobrísima visión de lo humano hoy predominante, reducida fundamentalmente a la dimensión del tener y del mercado.
